1994 MERCEDES S500CL
LET ME START OFF BY WELCOMING YOU TO OUR AUCTION OF THIS REMARKABLE WELL KEPT MERCEDES S500CL. WHEN THESE CARS WERE INTRODUCED IN 1994 THEY SET A BENCHMARK FOR HIGH END SUPER COUPES. THESE CARS WERE BUILT AS A TESTAMENT TO THE CRAFTSMANSHIP OF GERMAN ENGINEERING. THESE CARS ARE REGARDED TO THIS DAY AS THE CREAM OF THE CROP WHEN IT COMES TO THE BIG MERCEDES SEDANS AND COUPES. THIS PARTICULAR EXAMPLE HAS LED A PAMPERED LIFE. THE EXTERIOR OF THE CAR IS IN EXCELLENT SHAPE. THE PAINT IS GLOSSY AND FRE OF DEFECTS. ALL OF THE LENSES AND TRIM ON THE OUTSIDE IS LIKEWISE IN VERY NICE SHAPE. THE GLASS, IN CLUDING THE WINDSHIELD IS IN LIKE NEW CONDITION. THE AMG ALLOYS ARE IN VERY NICE SHAPE WITH NO CURB RASH OR MAJOR DEFECTS. YOU WILL NEED TO REPLACE THE TIRES IN THE NEXT 5K MILES. THE LEATHER ON THE INTERIOR IS IN GREAT SHAPE WITH NO TEARS, OR DRYING OUT. THE WOOD IS AN GREAT SHAPE AND HAS A HIGH GLOS WITH NO FADING. THE AIR CONDITIONER IS COLD. ALL THE POWER WINDOWS AND SUNROOF WORK GREAT. THE FLOOR MATS ARE 6MONTHS OLD AND LOOK IN GREAT SHAPE. THE MOTOR RUNS AS IT SHOULD, AND AS A SIDE NOTE, I PURCHESED THIS CAR WITH 9XXXX MILES, AND IT HAS ALWAYS RUN GREAT, WITH NO PROBLEMS. THE REAR ACUMMILATORS HAVE BEEN CHANGED. THESE ARE THE PROBLEMATIC REAR HYDROLIC STRUTS. THE PICTURES WILL DO THE REST OF THE STORY TELLING. THESE ARE BECOMING HARDER AND HARDER TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION. THIS CAR WOULD MAKE A VERY NICE DRIVER, OR A NICE ADDITION TO A MODEST MERCEDES COLLECTION. AS ALWAYS, YOU MUST KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS IS A 13 YAR OLD CAR AND WILL HAVE MINOR IMPERFECTIONS AND OR REPAIRS TO BE MADE. AS A SIDE NOTE, THIS IS NOT THE ONLY BIG BODY MERCEDES THAT I HAVE DELT WITH. CURRENTLY I HAVE A 64K MILE S600 CL THAT I JUST CAN'T BEAR TO PART WITH, AND WE ARE A EUROPEAN SPECIALIZED CAR DEALERSHIP WITH OVER 25 YEARS EXPERIENCE.
