When Mercedes-Benz set out to build the finest sports coupe in the world they came up with the CL500. Beautifully designed, meticulously constructed, breathtakingly fast, and technology-laden, the CL-Class became the goal for drivers seeking the optimum in luxury and performance. It's 5.0 liter V8 with double overhead cam, variable valve timing/camshaft and four valves per cylinder, puts out 315 H.P., and that's plenty to impress the normal driver!
The Mercedes-Benz CL-Class features marvelous technology in an amazing package of leather, walnut and sleek sheetmetal. You could argue all day about the perfect car, but for those who want a luxurious yet athletic coupe, the CL500 is as close to perfect as you're likely to come. The car is equipped with several upper-level luxury amenities as well as many safety features. The CL-Class features 12-way adjustable seats, walnut trim appliques, a full leather trimmed interior and an 11-speaker Bose sound system. For safety, the CL-Class features the BabySmart system and Automatic Slip Control. The Automatic Slip Control senses wheel slip and brakes the slipping wheel and/or reduces excess engine power until control is regained. The CL-class also includes the Parktronic System.
Please take your time and check out all the pictures of this nice CL500 V-8 Powered Coupe. I include plenty Large photos, so you can really get a good idea of what you are bidding on. First off, this is a rust-free California car, purchased new in Beverly Hills. It has only 88,000 easy miles and runs strong, no check engine, warning lights, etc. The body on this car is nice, NO dents, and only a few small dings under driver's side mirror, and under left rear tailight (see photos). The paint is still nice shiney. This high-performance model grips the road with wide, low-profile tires mounted on special Alloy 20" LE Collection 5 spokes, with 285/30R20 tires in the rear, and 245/35ZR20 up front, and all the tires are nice (see my pictures). This is your chance to get a low mileage California CL500 Benz for a great price, and don't forget ............. this is the last year for this body style?
The engine runs smooth strong, all 8 cylinders, and with 315 Horsepower, mercedes owners still get 22 MPG ! The automatic transmission shifts excellent. The A/C blows cold. This car feels mechanically solid. Nice driving car! This would make an excellent daily driver. We just recently purchased this car, so we are unaware of any prior repairs. This car has a Calif. title free of any leins. The car can be driven home but as always, we recommend having the car transported for longer distances.
