This is an absolutely rare find. The Designo Edition AMG includes a very hard to find Designo Silver color with a green leather interior and walnut grain trim throughout. The vehicle has been maintained meticulously, has always been garaged and is in Mint condition. I just had it in for its latest scheduled maintenance check; the tires are brand new as are the brakes. The next scheduled maintenance check is not due for another 4000 miles. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the AMG Edition Mercedes, this is not just another E55 Sedan. The AMG Edition is a 355 hp/5500 rpm, (max 6000 rpm), hand built powerhouse of an engine with a beefed up suspension system and beefed up heavy duty brakes. This car is very fast and an absolute pleasure to drive. The transmission is automatic but shifting can be done manually as well for some real get up and go action.
When I purchased the vehicle, I also purchased an extended warranty which is still in force. The warranty even includes tire hazards. The warranty is fully transferable and can also be renewed prior to the expiration of the original contract. (Expires August 3rd, 2008) Some of the other additional warranty benefits include: Rental Car, Tire and Wheel (zero deductible for tires and wheels damaged by road hazards), Towing, Trip Interruption and Roadside Assistance.
I also have the original Car Fax report along with the vehicles maintenance history. The vehicle has never been in an accident and is flawless except for one small ding just above the rear right tire. Some idiot in a parking lot probably opened their door into the car. The cost to repair the ding is $150-$200. A picture of the ding is included.
With less than 70,000 miles on this car, this engine is just broken in and will last for years. All major costs such as tires and brakes have been taken care of. All new! There’s really nothing more to spend on this car for quite some time and the warranty is still in force!
