Terms Of Sale This is a "No Reserve Auction" and we cannot accept Bid Retractions so "Please Be Sure You Intend To Buy Before Bidding." Payment arrangements are required within two (2) Business Days from the conclusion of the auction unless prior arrangements are made with the Seller, or we reserve the right to cancel your contract to purchase the vehicle. If you are financing we do understand it may take a few extra days. Please let us know and we will work with you, we do not however allow transactions to take longer than 7 days. Please also allow The Toy Store of Connecticut LLC a few days to prep the vehicle (ie., service detail).
We do not accept Escrow or Credit Card Payments for full payment.
If you are Financing the vehicle, it is necessary to have your financial arrangements secured prior to the end of the auction. Please do not bid on this vehicle unless you are already pre-approved for a loan. As with most Auto Dealers, we charge a $200.00 Conveyance Fee on all vehicles sold to cover title documentation, paperwork processing, secretarial expenses, Federal Express, etc.
We reserve the right to End The Auction Early if the vehicle is sold on our retail lot.
Please be advised that we can supply a 30 day temp plate (tag) for transportation of the vehicle for out of state buyers if the winning bidder plans on picking up the vehicle in person. A new insurance card and a proper documented matching valid drivers license will need to be provided to the Toy Store of CT.
Notice to Bidders
1. No bid retractions in the last 24 hours of auction please. If there are bid retractions in the last 24 hours, we may cancel all bids, end the auction early and relist this vehicle to protect the integrity of the auction process.
2. Remember that you are entering into a legal and binding contract to purchase the above-described vehicle from Prestigious. This is our business and we take it very seriously. Therefore, we reserve the right to prosecute to the fullest extent of the law (which may require travel to the State of Connecticut if not resolved or executed to our satisfaction) anyone that intentionally interferes, does not complete the auction, and/or effects our ability to effectively sell our vehicles.
3. The Toy Store of Connecticut, L.L.C. is a Connecticut limited liability company, with its principal place of business located in Stamford, Connecticut. If you successfully bid on the above-described vehicle, you are contracting with a Connecticut company, that is a licensed Connecticut car dealer, to purchase a Connecticut-titled vehicle, which is located in our showroom in Connecticut. As such, by bidding you agree that Connecticut law will apply to any dispute or legal action between us; you further agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the Connecticut courts and to be bound by the terms of any ruling, order or verdict rendered by a Connecticut court.
4. We respect all of our customers - locally and now nationally and internationally here on eBay! We are happy to make all of our vehicles available for all qualified bidders that are registered in the eBay Community.
5. All vehicles offered for sale by The Toy Store of Connecticut, L.L.C. can be inspected and test driven prior to your bidding on the vehicle, by suitable arrangement.
6. By bidding, you agree that your eBay name/account will act as your legal signature and The Toy Store of Connecticut, L.L.C.'s listing will act as its legal signature, and that a print-out of the closed auction screen naming you as the successful bidder will be considered a legal and valid purchase order, enforceable under Connecticut laws.
7. As payment in full is required within three (3) business days, The Toy Store of Connecticut, L.L.C. does not usually take "deposits" on a vehicle, but if arrangements are made and agreed to, be advised that "no refund of deposit" will be made, except in the discretion of The Toy Store of Connecticut, L.L.C.
8. We require buyer's information within 24 hours from the close of the auction so that The Toy Store of Connecticut, L.L.C. can facilitate proper title execution and ownership transfer. A purchase order signed by both parties must be facilitated within this time period via Fax or other transmission method (unless prior arrangements are made with seller). Under Connecticut State Law governing dealerships, without the signed agreement by both parties to purchase vehicle - there is no contract and The Toy Store of Connecticut L.L.C. will refer to the second highest bidder respectively. It is imperative to that the winning bidder complies with theses requirement as defined by the State of Connecticut, failure to do so will result in a non-paying bidder status and could have legal ramifications.
If you are a bidder with a Negative Rating it is Necessary to Contact us Prior to Bidding, as we will Cancel Bids from eBayers with a Negative Rating so serious bidders can prevail.
