The flagship of all Mercedes sedans, the 140 class S500 was 25% larger than its predecessors. This stately car was used to commute as a daily driver between Austin and San Antonio. The vast majority of the miles are highway in nature, as evidenced by the beautiful interior. This vehicle is something all car enthusiasts should take the opportunity to enjoy. From the handsomely appointed upholstery to the double paned windows which leave the interior virtually silent even as the powerful V8 roars down the highway. Dual climate control operates an ice cold A/C that includes a vent for the rear passenger. The car has been meticulously maintained using Mobil 1 synthetic as an oil of choice. The spacious interior is difficult to grasp with mere photos. The front seats can easily support someone >6ft tall and STILL allow for the back passengers to have ample leg room to fully cross their legs. It's no wonder this car was and is the car of choice for dignitaries across the globe. The new michelin tires have less than 1000 miles on them. The car looks and drives great. The paint is in good condition; the exception being normal scratches/dings for a vehicle of this year. As you can see from the photos any scratches/dings are small enough they are difficult to capture. Please contact me if you have negative feedback prior to bidding. The V8 produces over 300 HP....and top speeds well into triple digits. Some of the finer touches on this vehicle include: Safety Braking system. Electrically-operated exterior mirrors can be folded at the flick of a switch to ease driving in narrow spaces. 'Parameter steering' is a system which makes low-speed driving easier by reducing the effort required to maneuver in speed-sensitive situations such as parking. Rear-parking markers, or guide rods. These rods extend from the rear corners of the trunk lid when in reverse, providing the driver with a guideline for rear maneuvers. Air controlled lumbar support Dual-zone climate control. Reclining and heated rear seats. The air conditioning system is still able to function for 20 minutes after the engine had been turned off.
