History of my ownership
Purchased new by my father in 1994, and I took it from him in the winter of 2008 to drive back and forth between Hoboken, New Jersey and Williamsburg, VA (my house to his house)
I have the original invoice, and lots of records. Not all of them, but lots of them. He regularly serviced the car at Tysinger's Mercedes in Virginia Beach, VA, and also at a garage in Newport News, VA.
The car sat mostly un driven for about 2 years prior to my taking it over, so I did some basic maintenance and started driving it.
I had the oil changed and the car completely detailed in February. It looked very close to perfect when done.
I also UPGRADED the front grille to current styles for a better overall appearance.
I drove it back and forth a couple of times before it became obvious that I just didn't need it as a second car when I already have a great BMW 740iL that is nearly identical in size and purpose.
The registration and inspection on the car is current in New Jersey, with a completely clear/clean title in hand
Smog checked when registered just a couple months ago. This car runs perfect!
Current mileage ~91,1XX. I've only put a couple thousand miles on this car in 7months, that is almost entirely attributable to those couple of trips back and forth in the winter. The car mostly hasn't been driven in 4 months, but has been started regularly and moved in / out of the garage on occasion (I have a tandem garage and that's one of the reasons this car must go)
Did I mention that I also have a motorcycle parked in the same garage. This one really, really must go!
I walk to work and it's just not getting used. The road trips were great, but they are done, and I can't keep 2 cars. Please take this one to a new home!
The car has been parked indoors since new.
The car has been FULLY detailed recently (compound the paint, hand wax, shampoo carpets, leather conditioner, wheel dressing, vinyl dressing, vacuumed top to bottom) It's in AWESOME cosmetic shape with two small exceptions: There are some very light scratches on the trunk lid and one by the rear driver's side door (very hard to photograph, but here is my attempt. The second exception is a small scratch / dent above the driver's side rear bumper molding done by some unknown person in a parking garage a couple of days after the full detail and also hard to photograph, but it shows in these pictures. The light behind the passenger side climate control digital readout is not working so at night it's hard to see that setting unless you turn on the spot light above it in the roof console.
Oil changed just a few hundred miles ago!
Tires have thousands of miles left in them, all have over half tread left!

Some features that I really, really like and appreciate, as well as those my passengers like:
Awesome LONG wheelbase. Ultimate comfort! Your passengers will LOVE it! Seriously, this car has tons of room for all the occupants.
Heated, fully adjustable front seats, with driver side memory settings. They even extend the base of the seat for ULTRA adjustability and comfort.
Heated RECLINING back seat for the best comfort for your passengers in the back too!
Power folding mirrors for those tight parking spaces like mine and for folding them up when parking on the street.
Self-Leveling rear suspension, very spacious center console / armrest for front and rear, and full power rear-defrost
True amber fog lights, keyless entry (with one smaller sized factory switchblade key, and one original larger sized key, along with valet key)
Automatic Climate Control (2 Zone) - Driver and Passenger, Driver Seat Memory / 3 positions, Electrochromatic Rear View Mirror
Lightly factory tinted, EXTRA thick, door glass for privacy and a whisper quiet cabin.
Incredibly rich, full featured, cassette/am-fm/ AND 6 disc changer. (I think there is one magazine in the changer, but I haven't loaded any CD's so I'd have to see if there is more than one kicking around. Count on one, and if I find others, they are yours.
This car has a beautiful dark, black paint. With a lustrous shine, and great reflectivity. Matched with those full leather black hides this car is the epitome of class and comfort in an ultra-premium luxury executive sedan.

The car is sold as is, where is. ASK if you're not sure. I'll be happy to tell you WHAT I KNOW. At the end of the day, I really just bought the car, changed the grille, detailed and changed oil, and drove it for a couple of weeks. I am not intimately familiar with the car as I have had limited ownership and haven't driven it in the last 4 months. I will check, or find out, whatever you want. BUT, this car is NO RESERVE and AS IS for a reason. It's a 15 year old car, in very good condition, but any buyer should expect to find some flaws or issues related to age or otherwise.
Clearly I don't know every single intimate detail of every single part of the car, but that said, it's in GREAT shape, runs great, and needs little to be absolutely perfect.
There are LOTS of pictures, please look at them. Expect some VERY MINOR wear tear, it's a USED car
I'll be DELIGHTED to help you ship it. I wont drive it 100 miles, but I'll help. Be reasonable and I will also.
I have the title in hand, it's clear, and you will not have any waiting time at all
The car will easily pass emissions testing. I just smogged it and it was running exceptionally well.

I travel CONSTANTLY. I've been gone most of June and July, and will be on 3 more trips by August 4th. I will help you ship or pick up the car, but I am selling it this week because I will be back in town on July 31, 2008.
$500 deposit via PayPal, or cashier's check, received within 48 hours of auction close or the car will be relisted and a non-paying bidder report sent to Ebay. Period. No Exceptions.
The balance must be by cashier's check, wire transfer or cash. Period. No Exceptions.

Use the links in the second FULL description that I added for any pics. The original ebay listing had a flaw in it and someone bid within a few seconds of starting the listing preventing me from fixing the flaw. Sorry for the double listing, but some of the pics, like the grille, are important for people to be able to see.
