Vehicle Description
Clean, low mileage southwestern 560 SL roadster, bought by me from an Arizona seller four years ago, and since garaged and driven only summers and during nice weather. No rust or exposure to salt, ever. Quiet, smooth, powerful, fast. A delight to drive. The previous seller had replaced the rugs and seat upholstery as the original equipment was presumably faded from exposure to sunlight. The soft roof was new at the time I bought the car and is still in mint condition.
I simply do not drive the car enough to warrant keeping it, and am downsizing my collection of vehicles, so this one has to go.
The car has been regularly serviced, and has given me no headaches of any kind. Two disclosures: an uncooperative cruise control, and several small stone chips in the paint on the hood, which have been touched up but are there. Since I bought the car as a summer toy only, I did not care if it had a hard top, and this one did not come with one.
Pre-bidding inspections encouraged. Since the car is 21 years old, any bids will be deemed to acknowledge disclosure, that the above description relates to the behavior of the car to date only, and is not intended to be, nor shall be construed to be a prediction of future reliability, that the car is offered as is, as shown, and that any warranty, stated or implied is hereby disclaimed.
