You are bidding on a NO RESERVE 1982 Black on Black Mercedes 380SL
This is your chance to own a truly classic roadster, take down the top and cruise, let the wind blow through your hair and enjoy the scenic country roads, or cruise down to the beach.
Car was garaged for several years, only 99850 original miles body is straight no dents or rust engine runs strong and powerfull, blows a little black smoke when you rev the engine, needs a tune up does not smoke while driving, automatic transmission shifts smoothly through the gears. Original interior is in good condition shows normal wear for a 26 year old car , driver’s seat has 2 minor tears (see picture) dash has a crack above the center air vents and center console has the normal Mercedes wear and chips. Paint needs to be redone to be perfect, had been repainted but not a very good paint job, looks ok from a distance has several scratches on the trunk .Car has 16" ARE 5 spoke custom wheels, tires 225/50 ZR16 are aprox at 30% Front bumper is missing left rubber guard. Car has some electrical issues turn signals and gas gauge do not work. Hard and soft tops are in good condition small tear in soft top on passenger side (see picture) easy to fix. The cable for the top release needs adjusting. The pictures show a good description of the car as is, could be a daily driver as is, or a show car depending on how far you would like to take it.
