History: The car was purchased in 2000 and was in poor condition. At the time, it had about 150,000 mile on the odometer. Between about 2000 and 2002, the car was repaired, damaged items were repaired or replaced, and the car was re-painted. (The paint job has since then faded.) The car was not driven much between 2002 to 2005 as I was driving another car to work. From late 2005 until recently, the car has been driven almost every day to work and back.
Inspection: The car was inspected in June, 2008, and the inspection is good until May of 2009.
Soft Top: The soft-top is in excellent condition and is dark blue. The soft-top rear window is clear with only a couple of minor blemishes where the support wire had been pressed against it when it was folded. At this time, the soft top is stored in a near-by shed. The soft-top has always been removed from the car during the winter months and has rarely been folded down. It was new in 2001.
Engine Problem: At this time, the engine is making noise. The noise is believed to be either a bad rod bearing or a pin as the noise has been diagnosed as coming from the lower part of the engine. Originally, I thought that the problem was in the valve train and I have been driving this car, with this noise, since about May 2008. At this time, the engine runs great...with the exception of this noise.
Odometer is not accurate: Though the odometer reads about 216,390 miles, THIS IS NOT ACCURATE. The odometer had been broken, at one point, and I personally believe the car has somewhere around 240,000 miles....though I could be off a bit.
Body Condition: There is paint bubbling at several locations. They are as follows: both front fenders have small bubbles, behind the driver's side door, under the fuel door, behind both rear wheel wells. The driver's side front floor and passenger side front floor have both been repaired at some point and will need to be fixed again. There is a hole in the inside of the front passenger frame member in front of the front suspension. This hole has been there for some time. This list is probably not complete.
I am selling this car for either parts or restoration as the body needs a lot of work and repairing the engine would be both expensive and time consuming. If it were not for the engine problem, I had planned on driving this car for a minimum of couple more years.

Incomplete list of parts replaced since 2000: Right front (passenger side) fender (new around 2002), front wheel bearings, anti-sway bar bushings and linkages (front and rear), both rear diagnal swing arms (used), most hoses and all belts, air pump (used), sub-frame mounts and rear suspension mounts, climate control buttons, timing chain (single width), timing chain tensioner, some timing change guides, some vaccuum lines, some body molding, rear trunk star, power antenna (used), fuel filter mounting bracket, fuel line to fuel pump, fuel filter, transmission filter.
