Hi ebay members, up for sale is my very nice Custom Mercedes Benz 500SL convertible with factory optional hard top,1990 was first year of the R129 bodystyle. Merecedes made this style SL until 2002 model year,so you cant tell a new SL from an older model. Remember the MSRP was $100k back in 1990 on this car, it has a 5.0 V8 with 315HP,106k miles, its been custom painted lambo yellow,orange with pearl clearcoat,it was a very expensive$$ job with all body parts off frame so its high qaulity and done right with pearl clearcoat,no expense spared. Black 18" AMG staggered wheels on new dunlop tires,275/35 on rear and 245/35 on front,it has a $1600 Remus exhaust system that sounds like a Vette,I just spent $1700 on engine service,tune up,in Sept, new brakes,battery,belts,filters, AC charged,plugs,ignition rotors,caps,relays and more,memory seats,central locking system works fine,keyless remote with alarm works fine,black interior has been reconditioned ,real wood trim, new automatic transmission,engines in great shape with no leaks,2009 state inspection and emissions,clear texas title,black power convertible top"no leaks",has safety roll bar, kenwood CD ,power seats,locks,windows,I have about $6000 in paint,AMG wheels and interior work, hate to sell but need a bigger car,passenger side headlight rim is cracked, ordered a new one, This is a great classic SL if you like that custom look, It does get a lot of compliments. .Engine and trans are tight and shifts great thru all gears. The 500SL makes a great daily driver and makes a statement with top down or up, hardtop is custom painted and great for winter weather .garaged always,owners manual,car cover included.
