all 107 SL's and SLC's from 1973 until 1981 had a weak suspension part (mounts for right and left suspension) which endet up in a nationwide Mercedes recall for all 450s.
this mercedes was rebuilt with the enforced sub frame from a 560SL at 120000 miles.
Speedometer works but Odometer stopped working 2 weeks ago. I drive the car about 100 miles since then.
I have receipt for last oil change on April 10th 2008 with a Millage of 121976. Next oil change should be with 124976 miles
Car was once painted at the right side, before i bought it.
This car can be lookes at in Newport Beach. Pick up prefered.
Spent well over 10000 dollars the last 10 month. Have all paper work and receipts.
If cared well it will be a worry free car for a long time.
It drives great and cruises even better. It gives you a feeling of safety and joy whenever you are on the road.
