1972 Mercury Comet GT
You are bidding on a vintage Mercury Comet GT from 1972. It is a 3 speed with a 302-2V V8 engine. The car has 123,00 miles on it. It is in fair shape. The floorboards have rusted, there is a dent in the driver's side rear quarter panel, the front grill has been broken in one spot, and the right front corner has a bumper dent. The front spoiler has a dent and a slight bend in it. The right front of the hood suffers from some scratches and there are also some scratches/rust on the top right side. The driver's side seat has been ripped and will need reupholstered. The back seat has been taken out, but is still in fair shape. The passenger seat has no bottom seat, but the back is still there (could be used to reupholster the driver's seat).
This Mercury Comet GT would be great for an easy restoration project. With some cleaning up and a paint job, it would be a great looking machine. See the pictures below for more details and email me if you have any questions! Thanks!
