For sale is a 1967 Mercury Cougar. I have owned it since 1991, going through a divorce and need to sell it! It is completely road ready but restoration is not complete. It is in need of body restoration. The motor and transmission have been completely rebuilt with the following:
ENGINE
-302 block bored .030 over
-polished crank w/new bearings
-Keith Black pistons (10.5:1 compression)
-new connecting rods w/ARP bolts
-Rousch 200 heads w/2” intake valves
-Comp Cams Steel roller rockers, push rods, hydraulic lifters
-Crane cam (Energizer)
-Double roller timing chain
-New oil pump w/ high strength shaft
-Edelbrock RPM aluminum intake
-Edelbrock RPM 650cfm carb
**Barely over 1000 miles on this rebuild**
TRANSMISSION
-Rebuilt C4 street/strip
PSE poly suspension kit: All front suspension bushings have been replaced with polyurethane, new lower control arms, all new ball joints.
Dual exhaust with tri-Y headers
New battery, starter, power steering pump, water pump, fuel pump.
This is one souped-up wildcat!
As far as the body goes, the vent cowl is rusted and the floor boards need to be replaced. There is rust on both lower forward quarter panels, and the back window has some cancer. Rear sequential turn signals work. Hide away head lights have all major components but need vacuum lines routed, unsure if door motors are operational.
Over the years I have collected many spare parts (to many to list), everything I have would be included in the sale. If you have any additional questions then shoot me an e-mail.
