1997 MERCURY VILLAGER LS 41,370 Miles, 3.0L V6 Engine, Automatic Transmission Air Conditioning (blows ice cold), Cassette Player, AM/FM Stereo, CD Changer, Fog Lamps, Anti-Lock Brakes, Cruise Control, Alloy Wheels, Roof Rack, Power Steering, Tinted Glass, Driver and Front Passenger Airbags, Leather Seats, Dual Power Seats, 7 Passenger Seating, Quad Second Row Seating, Vehicle Information System, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Mirrors, Steering Wheel Audio Controls, Rear Air, Rear Audio and Temperature Control, Tilt Steering, Power Rear Vent Windows, Remote Start System ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- VEHICLE DESCRIPTION This Villager is a ONE OWNER vehicle that was owned by an elderly lady previously. I purchased this vehicle from the elderly lady's daughter who was selling it because it was time for her mother to end her years of driving. The daughter advised how she and her husband helped her mother keep up on maintenance and commented that the vehicle never missed a 3k mile oil change. In addition, I have had this vehicle fully detailed. Mechanically, this Villager is great shape. I have had this vehicle inspected by a mechanic at my local dealership. The mechanical verdict was excellent news! The engine and transmission are solid with no concerns or issues. It dows not leak or burn any fluids. The a/c blows ice cold air. There are only a few minor mechanical flaws and they lie within the interior. First, the CD changer magazine is broken making it so a CD cannot be played at this time. Second, the passenger side power window button is broken. It allows you to still roll the window down from the passenger side, but you must roll it up using the button on the driver side. All other mechanical, power, and electric features function perfectly. This vehicle also has a clean CarFax report which proves that this Villager has never been in an accident and that the title is clean. I would be happy to e-mail the CarFax report to anyone interested. Cosmetically, this body of this Villager is in great shape taking it's age into consideration. The paint is so glossy that water beads all over it when wet. There is no rust on the body of the vehicle. I have taken photos of EVERY cosmetic flaw. Maybe I was a little critical, but I tried to put myself in a buyer's standpoint and I would like to know everything; not just a few outside photos. Nonetheless, as you can see, the cosmetic flaws are very minimal, but again, I feel it is necessary to show you all around the vehicle and just not the good side. You are always welcome to inspect the vehicle yourself, in addition. Also, if you feel more comfortable having an unbiased 3rd inspection, please visit www.carcheck.com. For a small fee, an unbiased 3rd party will come to my location and inspect the vehicle and report the results back to you. Again, have no worries as I am confident that you will not be disappointed with this Villager nor my description of it. My goal is to present my listings detailed to the degree as if you were standing next to it. I have 2 keys, 2 keyless entry fobs, 1 remote start fob, and the title on hand. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ WARRANTY: AS-IS NO WARRANTY ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ PRICING BUY IT NOW FOR ONLY $5,850!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACT: Jon Binder @ 765-457-8331 (primary) or 765-461-0495 (secondary) or by e-mail - jibbroni@yahoo.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ABOUT ME: My name is Jon Binder. I am working on my 10th year in the auto industry. During college, I hired on at a Buick, Cadillac, and Jeep dealership in the detail department and worked there through my five years of college. I graduated college in 2004 with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Prior to graduation, I was offered a position within the dealership to start our Internet Sales Department. Although, I was about to graduate college and planned on becoming a CPA, I struggled to leave the dealership that I enjoyed working at. I accepted this position as our Internet Manager in April of 2004. I helped grow this department from just myself to an eight person team in just four years. In January of 2008, I decided to leave the dealership in effort to start my own used car business. Thus, this is what I am working towards in the long term. I presently am working from home and keep roughly 4-5 vehicles on average. Within the next two years, my goal is to continue to pursue my dream and open my own used car lot in Kokomo, Indiana. I have been married for almost four years to my lovely wife, Ashley. On January 22nd, 2008 I received the most precious gift anyone could give by my wife giving birth to our daughter Kyndal. We also have two spoiled pets; Murphy (Golden Retriever) and Sophie (cat) who sleep on the bed with us at night. I know; I am a softie. My hobbies and interests include being a coach/player of our men's slowpitch softball team and I participate in a bowling league in the winter. I really enjoy to play golf although my softball swing keeps my handicap stuck around 20 (I have to keep that ball in play!). I am a huge Chicago Cubs baseball fan (2008 is the year of the Cubbies!) and an Indianapolis Colts fan (don't be jealous; Manning is an NFL icon!). With that being said, my goal is to not only earn your business, but to insure that you are completely satisfied before, during, and after the sale. I would be enthused to speak to you to answer any questions that you may have or answer any e-mails. Feel free to contact me at any time and I will do my best to earn your business. Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SHIPPING OR LOCAL PICKUP AVAILABLE: As you may or may not be aware, vehicles can be transported through a flatbed shipping service. I have bought and sold a few cars via eBay and found a shipping broker that I would highly recommend. If you would like a shipping quote, please call Brooke or Ann at America's Choice Auto Movers. Their toll free number is 1-888-564-0164. Or, if you don't mind the drive or ride, you are welcome to pick up the vehicle in Kokomo, Indiana 46902. There is also an airport located about 50 miles from Kokomo with one way rentals available upon site. VEHICLE PHOTOS Thin scratch on driver side front door-should be able to buff or wax in effort to minimize Cracked area on driver side tail light and missing L badge-light still functions properly A few miscellaneous scratches on rear bumper Light scratch above passenger side rear wheel well-should be able to buff or wax this down Scratch on and near passenger side rear door Scratches around passenger side front and rear door openings-should be able to buff or wax down Tiny chip on driver side front quarter panel-should be a simple touch up Light scratches on front bumper-barely noticeable unless you are at eye level with it Small tear on one of the second row leather seats Several cigarette burn holes on passenger side front floor mat. There are areas of the floor mats and carpeting that have cigarette burn damage (see the following photos). The vehicle's owner was a smoker who apparently should have not been driving. Although the vehicle is in flawless mechanical condition, she did some pretty good damage to the interior with her smoking. I have had this vehicle professionally detailed and my detail guys did a terrific job removing the scent of cigarette smell by placing s cigarette stench bomb in the interior. I am not a smoker, so I have a fairly decent sense of smell. If I had not known better, I would have never have known that this car belonged to s smoker due the the scent of it. Cigarette burn damage in trunk Cigarette burn damage behind front passenger seat Miscellaneous cigarette burn holes between driver and passenger front seats Have you ever seen the movie Folks! (1992) with Tom Selleck? If not, Tom's character's father has a similar situation as the this vehicle's previous owner, except he actually burnt his house down...check it out; good movie. Rearview mirror is missing; can be replaced for about $10-$15 Heat/air vent is missing slots-heat and air still blow and function normally ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- AUCTION TERMS Seller reserves the right to cancel all bids and end an auction early at any time, should the vehicle no longer be available for sale as it is advertised locally.
