The car you are looking at and hopefully bidding on is a 1964 austin mini cooper S. It has been customized but can be taken back to its stock form as nothing has been butchered in the building process. For those of you that like it the way it is let me inform you of everything i've had done to it. Exterior- I have had the doors, trunk, and hood shaved. Meaning there are no more emblems, handles, etc. A set of sport pack arches were added to allow for bigger wheels in the future. I have decided to stick with the stock 10 inch wheels to keep the classic look. The wheels are 10x6 revolution wheels with a polished lip and painted center. The color on the car is 96 Corvette Blue and it has a black bottle cap. I have a new set of headlights for the car that are a classic style with blue dots in the center. Interior- The jewel of the interior is the dash. Its a 1955 chevy dash that has been cut, shaved, and painted the color of the car. It has been fitted with a set of Autometer gauges and a one-off column drop. The seats were donated by a 1954 austin healey and have had lumbar supports added. The seats do need to be re-covered. There is a roll cage in the car as it was a race car before i brought it back to the street. The rear seat is black and is in great shape. The headliner is also black and basically brand new. Engine-Transmission - The engine is a 1275 that has been bored to 1380. It has a melonited and knife edged crankshaft with 11.5:1 compression pistons. The cylinder head has been professionally ported and polished and has had hardened seats added. It is equipped with a set of rim flow valves and topped off with a set of roller rockers. The engine in this car is the same configuration as when it raced, but it has all new parts. Carburetion comes from a Weber 45. The transmission is a straight cut gear race tranny with a custom 3:90 gear ratio and limited slip diff. I had custom glass made for the side windows that has the tint inbetween two sheets of glass so it doesnt get scratched when you slide the windows back and forth. I also have a complete set of lexan windows for the car from when it raced. Fuel tank- I chose to have a stainless steel tank made for the car instead of running the saddle tanks. I do have the saddle tanks and they are included with the car if you would rather run them. Wiring- The car has been completely re-wired with a 21 circuit wiring harness. The only thing left to wire is the engine and headlights. Extras- I have a lot of engine extras but they do need machine work. 5- engine blocks 2 cranks 4 tranny tubes 2 clutch covers lots of other misc. parts to much to list, (pistons,valve springs, distributors, and so on) If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.
