Welcome to my beautiful 1979 Austin Mini Clubman. This Mini was modified last year from a Station Wagon, then stripped and made into a beautiful and very cool pickup truck.

Okay, here's the scoop on my very unique head turning Mini. This is a 1979 Mini Clubman Estate (that's British for Station Wagon or Van) which has been modified into a pickup truck. Rebuilt 1098cc Engine with Unleaded Head (this is no small thing, this means it will accept regular unleaded fuel without having to use lead additive every time you fill up). This is not the original engine, but we do have that available and will happily include that with the sale if we reach a decent price. The original engine will need new piston rings.
The Mini has refurbished COOPER 'S' disc assemblies which were purchased from a Mini Show in the UK. Refurbed to include NEW Pads/Seals/Stainless Steel Pistons. Discs disc assemblies alone is worth a lot. Rear brakes have also been overhauled.
Bodywork: New 'A' Panels, reinforced inner sills with custom made sections and NEW outer sills and doorsteps. This was carried out BEFORE any cutting was done. Also added before cutting were door aperture temporary strengtheners and cross pieces to add strength while the mod was done to the rear. After that the back was then removed below the windows, rear doors were cut in half (New Bottom Repair Sections Added). If you look at the rear view photos you can see the top halves of the rear doors have been retained and manufactured into the rear part of the cab.
All new brake pipes, top bottom swivels, inner outer CV boots, Steering Rack Gaitors, Subframe Mounts and Brand new gas tank.
Exhaust is a modified maniflow which has two rear side exits (see pics). Wheels are 10" special alloys which have been bead blasted to retain a smooth finish. There are five total tires (including spare mounted on back) this has developed a bump though and will need to be replaced. A modified RGA bodykit is fitted but can be removed if you prefer.
Interior is surprisingly contemporary gray cloth bucket seats. CD Player with AM/FM Radio. This is the best of both worlds, all the fun and looks of having a Classic Mini, but with the interior comfort of an S10.
Truck runs and drives nicely. We are stopped literally everywhere we go in this. People stop in their cars to watch you drive by, as they have not ever seen anything like this before. You will be the only one on the road like this.
This Mini is advertised elsewhere, so we do reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. We have set a reasonable reserve (so don't ask what it is) and sorry, no we are not interested in trades (unless you have a nice RV, then we might talk).

This little truck is ready to make some lucky owner very very happy. The way the truck runs and it's reliability NOT TO MENTION INSANE GAS MILEAGE, it could easily be used as a commuter vehicle. Imagine being the only one smiling at the gas pumps !!
