1993 Mitsubishi Expo LRV Wagon- This vehicle does NOT run. I don't know what is wrong with it. We are a British car restoration shop and have ended up with this vehicle. I did check compression and all four cylinders were within a few pounds of 210PSI. I took off the timing belt cover and the belt is intact with no teeth missing. There is no spark getting to the plugs. There is no water in the oil and no oil in the water. Engine turns over well.
The tires are in good condition and the car rolls easily. All the glass is good and the car is cosmetically in very good condition. It could stand waxing but the paint appears to be original and in good condition. The gray cloth interior could be cleaned up to be really nice and the seats have no rips or tears. The only real blemish on the exterior is on the sliding side door (pictured). This does not affect the operation of the door. All doors open and close well and there are no signs this car has ever been in a collision. There are no funky smells and I believe no one has ever smoked in it.
There is a Sony CD player that is worth the starting price of this auction.
Beyond what is listed above, I know nothing else of this vehicles mechanical condition. The previous owner was a female and it was parked 2-3 years ago when it quit running. I do believe that someone who is knowledgable with Mitsubishis could probably fix this car and have a great little vehicle. It is an automatic and has an economical 1.8 liter 4 cylinder engine. It has power windows, power locks, Cruise control, etc. Please email with any questions you may have and I will do my best to answer them.
