1997 Mitsubishi 3000 GT No Reserve

Over the last couple months, I’ve spent over $2,500 in parts which I bought from Rockville Mitsubishi and 3SX Performance. I replaced the engine mounts, timing belt, water pump, cam seals, valve cover gaskets, crank angle sensor, all of the maintenance parts were replaced with factory OEM parts, the other parts were upgraded with high quality brand name parts: Downpipe, catalytic converter, crank pulley, shifter, side markers, wires, plugs, K N filter with supporting bracket and its solid. These are just some of the parts I installed. The car runs and shifts outstanding. The engine has a healthy amount of torque. The new engine mounts and short shifter really makes this 3000 GT a pleasure to drive. The inspection is good until late 2009. There are really only two things wrong with this car, one of the door lock actuators are bad (can be had for ~$40 on ebay) I intended to replace it when I got the car but, I made a little method where I just press the key fob to unlock the door and open the handle within a second or so or it will just re-lock and unlock for 3 or 4 times, then stay locked until you press the button again. The second problem is the check engine light comes on periodically due to a blocked off EGR valve. EGR stands for Exhaust Gas Re-circulation. All this valve does is revert exhaust gasses back into the combustion chamber when the car is cold mainly to aid in NOx emissions. It does not affect the way it runs at all, the car runs beautifully. This part I’m assuming new is probably around $150 but I haven’t checked so it could be more but I don’t think by much.
