2005 Mitsubishi Evolution VIII MR
This auction is for my favorite vehicle I have ever owned. This is a 2005 Mitsubishi Evolution VIII MR. I am the second owner of this vehicle. It has always been garage kept, the paint is in perfect condition, the vehicle has had some professionally installed modifications which are listed below. This car has been pampered beyond belief. I only drive it on the weekends and have never driven in the rain. It has 17,843 miles on it now. I am only selling this car because I can no longer afford it and I would rather see it go to someone who can enjoy it and drive it more than me. So now for the good stuff.
This vehicle has all of the normal evo VIII MR accessories; such as the vortex generator, factory gauge pod with boost, temp, and voltage gauges, 17" forged alloy BBS wheels, Bilstein shock absorbers, aluminim pedal set, aluminum and carbon fiber e-brake handle, 6 speed manual transmission that shifts flawlessly with front and rear limited slip differentials, ACD Active center differential with three settings, ABS, power windows, and locks, a pioneer cd player with sirus tuner(not activated but included) twin scroll turbocharged all wheel drive, and brembo factory brakes. It also has the european spec headlights with the HID low beams, sealed fog lights and headlight level control. And all of thats just the factory items!!
The aftermarket performance accessories were all professionaly installed and include an AMS autosport front mount intercooler, samco hose kit, aftermarket upper and lower intercooler pipes, stainless O2 housing, stainless exhaust manifold, 3" downpipe and exhaust, APS blowoff valve, HKS powerflow intake, greddy boost controller, and turbo timer, seibon carbon fiber hood, lightweight AMS battery, and an upgraded Koyo radiator. Those are the only things I know for sure about. I think it may have cams and a reflash, I CANNOT guarantee that because I have not pulled the valve cover off to check the cams, but this car feels way to strong for just simple bolt ons. I always run 93 octane in it and always used mobil one for the oil changes. The car feels wonderful at any speed. It really is intoxicating to drive and is more than enough to handle almost any street cars out there. The clutch and drivetrain shift as smoothly as I would expect a brand new evo to, there are no hang ups, grinds, or quirks whatsoever. There are no dents or scratches anywhere on the car. This vehicle has always been in the south was purchased in madison TN and then purchased and owned by me in Huntsville Al so there have been no harsh environmentally influenced problems to worry about, like rust. The interior is immaculate and has never been smoked in. The only flaws I know of on the car are the chin spoiler, the hood, and the rear brakes. The chin spoiler was a carbon fiber one that had began to split. I took it off and have the factory one to go back on, it has some minor scratches that I wanted to have repaired before I reinstalled it. It would probably not bug most people and the scratches are hardly noticable unless you try to find them. I will include this front lip spoiler in the condiotion it is in now (slightly scratched and uninstalled). The seibon hood has a very small crack about 1 inch long that is visible near the engine vent hole. It has been this way since I first got it and has not spread any further. The rear brakes squeak from time to time, as almost all evolutions with the brembo brake system do. I guess the price to pay for PHENOMINAL brakes is a squeak from time to time. I have never had them changed and from what I have read they always squeak even when new. The vehicle has the original brakes and Falken Azenis 235/45/zr17 tires that appear to be in good shape with about 50% life left on them. The alignment and road feel of this car is perfect, it tracks strainght at any speed and there are no tire vibrations. It will handle corners with the best of european supercars. I have the original owners manual, two keys and remotes, the original window sticker, and most importantly a clear title in hand. This auction is for this vehicle in an as-is condition with no warranty implied by myself. I will not deliver or arrange shipping on this vehicle.
