Vehicle Description
We are reluctantly parting with our beautiful 1999 Mitsubishi Montero Sport XLS. We bought it to get around in the country in the snow and mud in the winter, pull a popup camper in the summer, and use as a daily driver year-round. It is an incredibly versatile vehicle, and has performed all of these tasks with ease! We've since moved into town and our boys have outgrown the camper, so it's time to sell the rig! Here are the details:

This is the car we've always turned to for fun! It tows the camper, hauls the bike rack, hauls stuff on the rooftop carrier, has a power plug in the rear for the electric cooler, and with 4WD and aggressive tread, can go nearly anywhere. The V6 engine gets reasonable gas mileage, and the towing capacity will let you haul a boat or small camper with ease.
This vehicle is in excellent overall condition. We're non-smokers, if that matters to you. Everything on the vehicle works as it should. It passed Missouri inspection last year with flying colors. The only negative is the tires, which are getting a little thin. We had the normal 100,000 mile maintenance performed, which included replacing the belts (including the timing belt) the spark plugs, and a full transmission fluid flush. There are a few scratches and minor door dings here and there, but nothing really worth mentioning. We figure the value of the vehicle at around $4500.00, but since you'll probably be buying new tires for it, we're setting the reserve at $3900.00. Overall, you're going to get a great vehicle in very good condition. Bid with confidence - you won't be disappointed!
