This car is in pretty good shape. I am a Nissan mechanic and bought the car with intentions of rebuilding the motor and restoring it, which I never got around too. I now have too many cars in my driveway and I'm sad to see it go. It had a fews dents and dings when I got it, which I fixed all but one. I started to fill the last dent when I decided to sell it so it will have to have that finished before it's painted. As far as exterior goes that is it. Some minor body work (e.g. sand and primer) and it's ready to get painted. The interior is all there, and in pretty good shape. The guy I bought it off of was a construction worker so he got it kind of dirty so it will need some elbow grease, but I guarantee it will clean up nice. I even put a decent set of speakers in the doors.
The motor cleaned up real nice, when I first got it it leaked clutch fluid all of the engine compartment from the master cylynder, which I replaced with a brand new one. I put a new starter in it. I tuned it up and drove it for about 6 months. I live in Hampton and made a few trips to Richmond and back, and the car did very well on the interstate. It does go through a bit of oil, I have to check it everytime I fill up, usually not adding more than a half a quart or so. I think it burns it considering it has 230000 miles on it, the piston oil rings are probably pretty worn. But if your looking for a great project car, that actually runs, this is it. The inspection expired on it because I am lazy, but I hardly drove it after I got it inspected so I think it would pass easily. I lost a hubcap one day on the interstate, so that is an issue, but a small one.
You can see from the photos that the front half of the car is primered, where I did the body work, and the back half is still normal paint. It is all black with grey interior. The transmission shifts fine, the exhaust is complete and would pass inspection fine. It has 4 disk brakes, which are in good condition.
This car is ready to drive. There will be a 100 dollar deposit due at the close of the auction, within 24 hours via paypal only. Then the car MUST BE PICKED UP, I will not ship it in any way, shape, form, or fashion. That is why I reiterate, THIS CAR IS READY TO DRIVE. The remaining balance must be paid within 5 days of the close of the auction, or I will refund your deposit, and sell it to the next bidder. If it is paid in full, I can hold on to it for you if you can't quite get to it in 5 days. I will not negotiate on any price or terms, my terms are fair and very easy to understand. Happy bidding.
