Vehicle Description PLEASE NOTE: Due to the large volume of questions I'm getting on this auction I will add in this little blerb. This auction is for PARTS to make a complete running car. All parts sold as-is and some mechanical skill is required to put it all back together. This is a relisted item as the first auction did not meet my reserve price. I no longer have a reserve. Just a few of the parts I have listed can be sold via ebay and other means for more than my Buy It Now Price. If you want to do an SR swap you can simply sell the KA parts and that will help pay for your other stuff. I do not have the time/resources to list every part I have seperately so here is my auction. If you are good with tools and know what you are doing, this is a great project and you can get it running pretty cheap. If you do not know much about how this stuff works, then please consult an engine builder or a shop as to what it will take to have the engine built. Included Engine Components to be Assembled: KA24DE engine from a 1995 Nissan 240sx S14 Block Bored .20 over for Pistons NEW*** CP Dished Pistons SC7300 (matched to engine) NEW*** ARP Head Studs NEW*** Rod Bolts NEW*** Cometic Head Gasket (90mm .040") Stock Rods (can upgrade if getting bigger turbo) Polished Valve Cover Oil Pan with Oil Return Line Fitting Head has been resurfaced NOT INCLUDED ENGINE COMPONENTS: Labor (The time that I don't have) Timing Chain Kit (Ran fine but now is the time to put a new one in) Rod Bearings (I would replace them) Misc gaskets (Get a gasket kit from NAPA) The Story: There are a lot of upgrades and parts to list so I hope I have everything. The car was not running as good as it was before so we ran some tests and then tore it down to confirm that the stock piston ring lands broke on 2 cylinders. This is a common issue with stock-piston Turbo KA. I then took it all apart and then I bought a house, got married, have a kid with another one on the way and its sat ever since. Its been over 2 years now and I have not rebuilt my car yet and with my other home projects there is just no time to put back/finish my car. I have about 98% of the parts and stuff ready to go, but just no time to work on it. The engine is the only thing that needs to be assembled/built. I have a lot invested into this car but my loss is your gain. I'd like to keep the parts with the car because its mostly there. I know I could probably get more money with the car assembled and running or if I part the car out completely, but that is just going to take more time and money on my end that I don't have. The swap from a SOHC to DOHC has already been made so there is no tinkering with converting it over for a turbo setup or for a different engine. The car was running with its current setup. Of course it will need to be retuned when the new pistons are installed as I'm sure some variables will have changed. Its been a great car and I love it to death which is why I've held on to it for so long but its time for someone else to enjoy it and work on it. The license plate tabs are current until June 2009. A lot of the pictures are of the parts before installation. The car is a rolling chassis with all of the suspension in.. Some of the pictures are before the turbo and/or during the installation just so you can see the parts. The picture with the polished valve cover is of the running engine with the turbo installed so you can see how everything was setup. I have all/most of the stock parts that came with the car. The interior panels/speakers, stock fuel rail/injectors, seats, stock extra wheels (needs new tires since I burned them away at the track) and pretty much anything else that I took off the car. I have an extra intake manifold, extra tranny parts, extra rear end, extra motor mounts, and a lot of other stuff. You get everything I have for this car. If you win this auction you can choose what you want and what you don't want in terms of the extra parts when you pickup the vehicle.
