This beautiful 300ZX is a national award winner. It has only 9,500 original, documented miles (15,550 km). It won BEST OF SHOW and the coveted GOLD MEDALLION awards at the 2000 Z-Car Club Association (ZCCA) Convention in Las Vegas. It is a meticulously maintained collector car and weekend driver that could be kept as a show car, or put into daily driver status. This Z is Canadian, and has metric gauges (except the speedometer, which can read either miles or kilometers). It was registered in the US in 1998 and has current California registration. This Z could easily be driven cross-country without any problems. It has a very smooth, luxurious ride and has been an absolute joy to own. It comes from a smoke-free home and is always tucked away under a custom car cover in our climate-controlled, insulated garage.
The mileage shown in the photo of the odometer reads in KILOMETERS. That converts into approximately 9,500 actual MILES.
This is a COLLECTOR CAR. Everything on this Z is STOCK. We just replaced the factory original tires (they were 22 years old!), had its annual Nissan dealer checkup and oil change, installed a new battery, and have recently replaced the timing belt and other belts and hoses with OEM parts. Nothing has been altered or modified, and every component works as-new. It is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. It features an automatic transmission with overdrive, leather interior and trim, power driver's seat with lumbar, power windows, alarm, and climate control. The digital dash option has a female voice that announces when your door is ajar or gas is running low. The premium sound system (with equalizer) is superb. The car even smells new. This Z has always been serviced by Nissan dealers and only OEM replacement parts are used. It is driven minimally, but regularly. The car is loaded with every option available in the 1986 model year (except turbo) and stickered for about $22,000. It is currently insured as a show car with an appraised replacement value of $20,500, deemed by the appraiser to be of "Museum Quality." You will be hard-pressed to find another Z of this generation in as perfect condition and with as low miles. Car comes with 3 sets of keys (including t-top lock key), original owner's manual (signed by "Mr. K") and complete provenance of car's known history, dating back to the original Canadian owner who died shortly after taking delivery of his dream car.
This car has been a great source of pleasure and pride for many years. It has been accurately depicted and described, but is being sold as-is, with no warranty. We fully expect and welcome your questions, and even a personal inspection, before you submit any bid. The reserve will NOT be revealed, so please don't ask (suffice it to say this is not a bargain basement auction). Please don't bid if you do not intend to ultimately purchase this car. Fraudulent bidding or a deadbeat winner will be reported to ebay, and will certainly cost us a lot of undue energy, time, and expense.
