One of the wheels is different from the others it came off a regular turbo Nissan (look at pic). 4. Left corner back bumper scrap easy fix. As this is a 5 speed car, the only additional cost was $195 for its destination charge. Total sticker? $26,194.00! That’s a metric ton of Nissan dollars, and was far and away their most expensive offering in 1984! There are digital gauges, bar graphs, an LED compass and G meter and LED readouts for all engine functions! The center console has the shock absorber, power seat and mirror control functions as well as the controls for the BodySonic stereo—devices that literally “shake” your seats to add the feel of bass, and not just the noise! Condition wise the interior is just about perfect, with some very minor wrinkles in the driver’s seat, and NO cracks in the soft dash pad, NO leather discoloration or shrinkage and NO visible wear from the AE exclusive floor mats on the carpet to the headliner inserts in the T tops. Nissan’s color scheme may have been classy and subdued, but that can’t be said for the body! Wide fenders, rear over riders, low rocker panels emblazoned with “Turbo” callouts, a tall rear and deep front spoiler, a hood scoop and 16” machined wheels with gold tone inserts isn’t exactly a subtle car! Then, as now, this is a car meant to be seen in! The trim pieces are finished in a shiny black without chalking or fading. The ground effects are excellent with no damage or warping. The glass is immaculate, as are the T tops. 80’s Japanese sports cars are gaining momentum with collectors. From their quirky looks to their judicious use of technology and new ideas to their reputation for reliability and innovation, these cars are coming of age. Most of these hit the junkyards more than 10 years ago, making it even more unusual to see one running around, let alone in this condition! We’ve seen a rise in status, price and collectability of 1980’s European and American cars, provided they’re exceptional examples. This car is exceptional, it is a rare and desirable model, and it’s well on its way to collector car status. You’ll regret not grabbing this one! Please note that all sales are binding and final.
