For sale is a Silver 1995 Nissan Altima GXE 2.4L 4 Cyl automatic transmission. The vehicle was purchased by me in 2001 from an auction and only had 22K miles on it. It was mainly used as a commuter vehicle and driven on the highway with minor city use. The car is in excellent shape with a few minor issues. It is no longer needed as I have a newer vehicle. It has not been on the road for about 6 months. Buyer agrees to pickup vehicle or arrange for shipping. No warrenty, as-is. Great for parts or as a first car or perhaps for someone a little older who doesn't need much, but does need wheels... Here's the info: Body: No dents or dings. Exterior is silver in color, a little sun faded. No rust spots. Car has not been involved in any crashes as long as I have owned it and as far as I know, prior to me either. Engine: 142,712 miles. Original engine and transmission. 2.4L 4 cylinder. New radiator, upper/lower hoses, thermostat and fluid. New fuel injectors. New distributer/spark plugs. New battery. New oil pan and gasket. New main head gasket. New exhaust and muffler. Interior: Grey interior with cloth seats. Seats have a few cigarette/ash burns. Carpet is stained, but OK otherwise. Features: Automatic transmission. OEM AM/FM Cassette. Pioneer front speakers. AC and heat work fine. Driver and passenger airbags. Cruise Control. Power windows, locks, mirrors. Known Issues: Front windshield has crack approx. 6-7 inches long. Radio antenna does not retract when car is turned off. Check engine light is on (flash codes show rear oxygen sensor and engine knock sensor). Left front tire has slow leak. CV boots torn. Recommended Actions: The car will most likely need a transmisson fluid change soon, I did it at around 90-100K miles. The car will definately need a new windshield to pass any inspection I'm sure. New tires and an alignment would not be a bad idea either. Brake pads should be ok for a while. CV boots should be replaced. Original suspension, ball joints, and motor mounts might need to be replaced for a smoother ride, but it's a fine ride nonetheless. Check engine light will have to be dealt with as well. As stated above, it seems to be from the oxygen sensor and engine knock sensor. It has always passed emissions tests in Maryland with no issues. Car runs fine, great on gas. I changed the oil and filter at 3-5K mile intervals, but could most likely use a change. Car has been sitting in driveway for the last few months, but I have started it and cycled the engine and ran AC for 10-15 minutes every so often. Ran it around the block too. Currently has about 1/4 tank gas.
