Vehicle Inspections and Customer Satisfaction: We are committed to providing not only quality used vehicles but doing so in a professional and honest manor. We attempt to provide you with an honest description of this vehicle and to provide you with a Free Copy of the AutoCheck Report on this vehicle. In addition, we extend to you the unconditional right to have this vehicle inspected by an independent inspection company prior to completing the funding portion of this transaction. We require that the inspection be performed within 72 hours from the end of the auction. Fees Associated with this Purchase: All Buyers will be responsible for the following fees, in addition to the final winning bid or negotiated purchase price to end this auction: Texas VIT (Vehicle Inventory Tax): Equal to approximately $24.50 per $10,000 in purchase price. Examples:
$10,000 Purchase Price VIT Tax will be approximately $24.50
$20,000 Purchase Price - VIT Tax will be approximately $49.00
$30,000 Purchase Price - VIT Tax will be approximately $73.50
Documentary Fee: Equal to $50.00, which includes preparation of all purchase documents and costs, if needed, associated with next day deliver of title documents to buyer.
If you are a resident of Texas, you will be required to pay Texas Sales Tax (6.25%), Title Fee ($35.00), and License Fee ($69.00) in addition to the fees shown above License fee may not be required if current Texas registration has not expired.
If you are a resident of any other state (or country), there are no additional fees associated with this purchase. You will pay your state sales tax to your state of residence (if required) at the time you register your vehicle. You are not responsible to pay Sales Tax in the State of Texas.
Deposits: Generally, we do not require deposits on Ebay purchases. However, we do require that vehicles be paid in full approximately 7 days after the end of the auction. Paying For Your Vehicle: If you are having your vehicle shipped, we require full payment before the vehicle is released to an auto transport company and expect full payment no later than 7 business days after the auction closes, unless other arrangements are agreed to by our Company. If you are traveling to Dallas to pick up your vehicle, you may bring your total funds with you and have the right to inspect the vehicle prior to handing over your funds, provided that you arrive in Dallas within 7 days or so after the close of the auction. We will also pick you up at the airport or provide a shuttle service to our warehouse facility in North Dallas after your arrival. Trade-In Your Existing Vehicle: We Do Accept Trade-Ins from Buyer's. You may email John at john@ewayauto.com (or click "Ask Seller A Question" link at the top of this page) with a thorough description of your vehicle that you would like to trade-in. Please include a thorough description including mileage, condition, color (ext and int), sub model with options and any other information that will help us appraise your vehicle. Include pictures if you have them (not required). You may include a price that you need to obtain in order to make the purchase work. Remember, we are a large wholesale operation and do not pay retail prices for trade-ins. If you are in the State of Texas (including some other states) the trade in is deducted from the purchase price before computing Sales Tax on your newly purchased vehicle. This will save you 6.25% in the state of Texas and possibly more in other states. Check with your states' department of motor vehicles to see what their policy is on trade-ins. After reviewing your trade-in request, John will either email you back with additional questions or contact you by telephone (please included your contact telephone number(s) with email) to discuss the purchase and trade. Temporary Tags: We provide 21 day temporary tags with every vehicle purchased online. This temporary tag gives you the legal right to operate this vehicle in all states until you have the opportunity to register the vehicle in your state of residence.
Vehicle Titles: As a Wholesaler in the automotive industry, on occasion there will be a delay in delivering a vehicle title due to lien holder payoff transactions. This could potentially delay title deliveries but we guarantee delivery of a clean title on every vehicle that we sell on Ebay Motors.
Dealers are Welcome to Bid: Since the vast majority of our business is wholesale to licensed dealers, dealers are welcome to bid on any of our vehicles. Proxy Bidding: Many Ebay bidders get out bid during the last minute or so of auctions due to last second bidders. It is important to understand the Ebay PROXY BIDDING system so that you can avoid last second disappointments. For purposes of these Terms and Conditions both parties submit to personal jurisdiction in Dallas County, Texas and further agree that any cause of action arising under these Terms and Conditions or other issues surrounding the sale of this vehicle will be brought exclusively in a Dallas County, Texas court.
