This 1969 Oldsmobile 442, 2 door post has been professionally restored.Less than 1500 442 post cars built
Necessary body work has been completed on this Georgian automobile before being preped and painted to the origional crimson red with black hood strips using base clear materials. The car had been completely dismantaled while the frame including other components has been powder coated. All trim work has been refinished or replaced with new. Bumpers have been re-cromed. 304 stainless has been used for the dual exhaust,with 40 series flowmasters.
The 455 cu.in. V-8 engine has been rebuilt. A rebuilt 400 turbo hydromatic transmission and refurbished 12 bolt rear axel with positraction, 331 gears and sway bar complets the drivetrain. The rust free floor has been cleaned, painted and detailed, as has the engine compartment.
The interior of the car has been reapolstered using Legendary Auto-Interiors.
New 215/75x15 front radials are mounted on new Weld Prostar rims while 275/60x15 Goodrich Comp T-A drag radials are mounted on matching rear wheels. This is a show quality restoration.
