1986 OLDSMOBILE 442
I am the third owner of this car. It was originally purchased July 1986 at our local GM dealer. ( I have a copy of the original sales receipt) It has all W42 options, see picture of trunk sticker. The car has 44700 original miles, miles will change as I go to car shows or drive just to show off.
INTERIOR: All interior has been professionally refreshed. Dash has a small place, shown in pictures. Original carpet is in real good condition. T-Tops fit tight and do not leak and have original covers. Sun visors don't sag, lighted make-up mirror on passenger side works fine. All gauges work fine. Original radio/tape work. Auto trunk opener.
EXTERIOR: No Rust. Original paint was faded so I had the car completely painted with original colors. Burgundy Metallic-79/WA8529, (better known in it's day as Black Cherry) Silver Metallic-12/WA8535. I also added a new 442 stripe kit. I did not paint inside hood, trunk, or doors because these were in good condition. Original rims with 442 hub covers and new Firestone, INDY500 FIREHAWK tires.
I have changed out the air conditioner and installed a complete new 134A system and it blows cold! I have also installed a new carburator, like the original and a new dual exhaust system. It has a new battery and new original GM floor mats.
I also have the original owners manual package including booklets and gold inset keys and key chain.
This car runs, drives, sounds and looks great!!! It really is a head turner.
There were only 4273 olds 442 made in 1986. I don't know how many had
T-Tops. These cars are getting rare and are very collectable. I am advertising locally an may end auction early. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!!!!
