1972 OLDSMOBILE W30 442 CONVERTIBLE PROJECT
This car is a something I have been gathering parts for a W30 recreation, it is not a real W30 or 442. I have a bunch of parts that go with this sale, it is an orginal 350 auto car. As you can see from the pictures the body work has been started, with lower one piece quarter panels replaced. Frame is solid, with no rust issues in the usually places. Top motor works perfectly but also as seen in the pictures the top and interior will need to be replaced.
Included with this auction are:
Rebuilt 455 engine with correct Ga heads for a W30 (also orginal 350 engine and Turbo 350 trans).
A rare correct W30 Intake manifold.
W and Z Exhaust manifolds.
Rebuilt Turbo 400 transmission.
A really nice Dual gate shifter and console.
Bucket Seats
Sport steering wheel and floor shift steering column.
Rear sway bar and control arms.
Some would argue with this, A/C system as pictured.
Set of 4 Ralley wheels.
What needs to be done yet in the body work department. Rear wheel wells need to be patched and trunk side extension drops replaced (very cheap price to buy replacements). The Trunk floor is in great shape without in rust holes, but need to have a little work done in the corners, by the well wheels, SEE PICS. The front fenders need lower patch panels and one needs a bumper contact mark repaired, all pretty easy repairs. The passenger compartment floor boards over all are in good shape, two patch panels and two cross members should take care of the rust as also seen in the pictures. Hood needs some minor ding repair.
