This car came from factory with,
442 package, hurst 4spd., 400 ci engine, 12 bolt posi, dual exhaust with headers(aftermarket) and thats about it.
This car came green with gold interior, this was a (SLEEPER) this is a car that has no markings of being fast and giving apperance of a fast car, these are kind of cool to find.
This car currently has non matching 455 engine from oldsmobile (68-72), the transmission im told is the one that came with car, but this car was optioned with a 4 speed, these 4spd. convertible 442 are EXTREMELY RARE, it is not easy to find one, i believe there were only 2000 or less produced, less are now in existence.
The interior is pretty complete doesnt have door panels but bench seat, rear seat and interior quarters, windows, dash and gauges. the floor is in very nice a few small trouble spots. Convertible top goes up and down fine, its not broken, top cloth is very nice.
Body has minimal rust just some on wheel wells and fronts of fenders, frame is very nice, no rust or rot, no damage either, doors work so does trunk and hood, see no signs of damage to car, bumpers are in good shape.
455 engine needs to be rebuilt smokes and leaks oil, we put new timing chain and gears on it, runs good still has poer was a fast engine, could not tell fully because transmission is in need of being rebuilt will go into gears but something is broken inside, im quoted 800 for total rebuild, will drive onto and off trailer, reverse also works, you will not be driving down road on trannie, im thankful it went onto trailer without problem.

THIS CAR IS A REAL 442, NOT A CLONE, THIS IS A REAL RACER AS THERE IS NO AIR AND NOT FRILLS, THIS WAS BUILT FOR SPEED, A 442 CONVERTIBLE 4 SPEED, WHAT A FIND, THE CAR IS NOT ROTTED AT ALL, IT HAS SOME SMALL RUST IN THE FENDERS WHICH IS VERY COMMON, IF YOU LOOK AT THE TRUNK, IT IS ALL ORIGINAL, EVEN HAS THE ORIGINAL SPECKLED PAINT IN THE TRUNK, VERY RARE TO SEE A SOLID TRUNK, THIS CAR HAS ONLY MINOR RUST AND IT IS IN THE FENDER AND QUARTER PANELS, THERE IS NO BONDO AND THE RUST IN THE QUARTERS IS ONLY IN THE WHEEL WELL, I HAVE BRAND NEW QUARTER PANELS, IF YOU WISH TO BUY THEM, I HAVE TO BE HONEST, THIS IS REALLY A GREAT PROJECT CAR, IT WAS RUNNING AND WAS SUPER STRONG, BUT THE ENGINE NEEDS TO BE DONE, I WOULD LIKE SOMEONE TO RESORE THIS CAR AS IT WILL NOT BE A LARGE PROJECT, IT NEEDS VERY LITTLE TO BE COMPLETED AND BE ON THE ROAD, SOMEONE WILL BE EXTREMELY HAPPY TO OWN THIS ORIGINAL CAR WHEN IT IS DONE, THANK YOU FOR LISTINING, JERRY.
