I purchased this car almost three years ago and it has served me well. I've upgraded to a new vehicle and now have to part with this great 1995 Olds Aurora. I'm a "car guy" and have done a lot of work getting this car into excellent running condition.
In the first year of ownership I invested over $2,500 upgrading the car. This included a new starter motor, radiator and shock absorbers. There were also items that needed replacing on a '95 car such as new power steering hoses, spark plugs and the engine needed one new ignition coil.
This vehicle has a twin cam, fuel injected 4.0 V8 that runs beautifully. The same era Cadillac Seville SLS and STS run the same engine with a slightly larger displacement.
The transmission is excellent and this car gets decent mileage. I get 16 mpg in town and 23 mpg Highway.
I work 4 miles from home which means this car does few miles; I also garage the vehicle year round (both at home and in a parking garage at work).
I have all my receipts for work done on the car if any potential buyer would like to see them.
The interior is in great condition (see photos).
This is a 13 year old car and there are some minor scuffs and marks in the paint. The worst mark is on the passenger side rear door, most of the scuff is to the protective trim on the door (see photos).
For some reason the auto trunk release button doesn't work, however you can of course open the trunk using the key.
The CD/sound system works well and the car's battery was replaced 6 months ago. This car is registered in Connecticut until Oct '09.
This car cruises beautifully. On sunny days with the sunroff open the V8 purrs and gives the car some real power should you need it.
