Vehicle Description
I am relisting this car due to a deadbeat bidder that tried to scam me with a counterfeit check. Up for auction today is a 1984 Cutlass Supreme Calais Edition. The car was top of the line back in is era. This car was built in Lansing, MI at the old Fisher Body Plant. This car came with all of the options including T-Tops. I am listing this car for a friend of mine who is in dire need of money as she was Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) a few years back and is unable to work. In 1996 Her ex-boyfriend started to restore the car to its original condition but they parted and went their seperate ways. The car was primed but not completely finished. The car has the common problem areas know for this body style including: rust holes in the frame behind the rear wheel wells, rust/rot hole in trunk behind left rear wheel well (I have taken pictures of these spots). The headliner is also sagging. The car starts and runs but needs a tune up and exhaust work. The car was stored in her garage from 1996 until about a month ago when I moved it out.The car also had a new gas tank at the time. All four tires were replaced in 96 when restoration was started and none of them were flat when I pushed it out. There were no oil spots on the floor. Alll fluids were full and the brakes were free. The cars doors were replaced by a set of southern doors that were in very good shape. All of the trim is in the trunk of the car(I ahve taken pictures of it). The rear bumper, door panels, interior trim and other miscellaneous parts are also included. Everything is there to put the car back together. The car also has the origional T-Top holding bags too. This would make a great restore project as there are many hard to find parts. The car will need to trailered or towed. This is a local pick-up only.
