Our locally traded classic Cutlass (originally a Texas car, recent owner at least the third and has owned since 1999. He indicates he has never exposed it to rain nor a car wash and has always garaged!) is loaded with all of the features including a clean power canopy complete with soft boot, premium Kenwood AM-FM cassette stereo radio with rear aftermarket Sony speakers, custom winter floor mats, dual sport mirrors, power brakes, leatherette (vinyl) upholstery, wood grain interior trim, intermittent wipers, power steering, carpeting, period correct chrome wheels-rings and caps, hood release, no owner’s manual, 4 barrel quadra-jet, intermittent wipers (hi/low), new chrome rear bumper, and tilt steering column.
This nostalgic Oldsmobile is powered by an automatic Rocket 350 motor! It has passed the Wisconsin Buyer’s Inspection with our tech noting that the transmission pan gasket has a “leak that leaves a mark, the floor pans are original (rusted out, see pictures) but has new sheet metal over the holes. The repainted royal blue clear coat glistens very nicely even before detail (see pictures) and is accented with white power canopy, pinstripes, chrome dual exhaust, and chrome rims! The lower rear quarter-panel (see pictures)-the lower portion of the doors and a small patch or two around the body have had some bodywork. This classic convertible was owned, garaged, adult driven before being traded locally. It is not perfect, however it has been well maintained and used in the temperate months as a daily driver. The tread is above average. The off white canopy has no cuts, tears, or punctures on the exterior and operates well. The comfortable white leatherette/vinyl seats look to be original and are in very good condition with no cuts, tears, or punctures and are nicely complimented with matching door panels and dash trimmed with wood inlays. The rear seat back has two loose frayed seams, and there is a ½” scuff on the driver door and a 1” crack on the same left arm rest. The interior is very clean and in amazingly solid condition including the dash. Two aftermarket rear speakers have been added. The trunk is expansive.
