The item I am selling is a 1979 Hurst/Olds. It is all original, numbers matching, etc..... This car sat for a while now. I would say about 5 years. It has been started, but it does not run. I think the only problem mechanically is the carburetor, which is new and bought with the numbers matching, needs to be adjusted. When I got the carburetor someone else put it on and I dont think they knew what they were doing. This car also has a rebuilt transmission that I believe was put in late 1999 or 2000. For some reason it does not want to go in gear and the transmission should be like new. I'm thinking it might be because it sat so long. Car has original sale slip and all documents. This car needs work. A paint job, driver's side seat is ripped which was bought that way. I've had the car since late 1998 or early 1999 and was made and bought in N.J. I believe I am the third owner and I've had it ten years now. I always meant to fix it up, back then it didn't need as much work and I didn't have the money. Now I have the money and don't have the time as I live with my fiancee and her 5 kids and work long hours traveling. An excellent fixer upper car if you like the hurst/olds line. This is white/gold which is the more rare of the 2499 produced that year. I believe that 1164 white/gold were made. Car was never in an accident or anything like that. The guy that had it before me tried to match the color of the gold in the front of the car and it doesn't match. This was a special gold made by oldsmobile for this car.
