I bought this car several years ago from the wife of the deceased original owner(it sat for many years unused after he died). It had 55,000 miles on it, it needs restoration, but after having done several before I new this one would be a lot easier. I drove the car the first summer and put a 1,000 miles on it before parking it in my garage, it goes down the highway great.
It needs:
some body work ( over and under the Headlights, like all 58' GM Cars)
an exhaust system
some new stainless Tail Fins (I have them)
New Taillight assemblies (the old ones work but were damaged while helping me load it on my car trailer) I have them too.
Seats need to be recovered ( The original owner weighed about 390 lbs)
I have NEW CARPET For the floors (front and back)
Bumpers need to be re chromed, and maybe some window trim might not clean up well (some small amount of pitting, Front and back)
I have New Brakes in the box.
The Frame is in EXCELLENT condition need to be blown clean and painted.
All glass is perfect with the exception of two small cracks at te corners of both side glass on the doors.
Everything is there and original (even the battery hold down and windshield washer bottle. It has the original AM Radio that works and an Original rear speaker. As I mentioned the car runs great, both engine and transmission perform well. The tires are new bias ply but are cracking on the sidewalls due to age.
