1982 Oldsmobile Delta 88 with 5.7 Diesel. Great for Veggie-Biodiesel applications. This car was parked because it was blowing coolant out the radiator- most likely a blown head gasket. I bought this car with the idea of replacing the head gaskets and head bolts. The key to these engine is to use good head bolts and torque them properly. According to the previous owner the tranny was just rebuilt before parking the car. The car has been sitting for two years so the fuel tank should be checked. I had to move for my job and cannot get back to work on this project. Car is located in Yankton, SD. Delivery possible for a fee in the I90-I94 area between SD and Detroit. Car is in good condition for its age. Cloth interior (blue). Paint peeling on the driver side rear, front bumper bent up a little, crack in windsheild, one tail light lense has a hole in it. Service manuals go with the car. This is a used non running vehicle. Car sold as is. NOTE: I just found a complete gasket set for this engine- it will be included-- Car is being relisted because a bidder decided to waste all our time and not follow through..therefore if you have little or no feedback- transaction history please e-mail me before bidding or I will have to remove your bid. Don't bid unless you are willing to follow through on the transaction.
Thank you for looking!

There was a question about the tranny. I am not sure, but if you look at the dash, it is an overdrive tranny. The former owner had the tranny rebuilt just before he parked it. He said he spent $1,200 on the rebuild.
