Vehicle Description
1957 Olds Super 88 2 dr. sedan. This Florida car has less then 2000 miles on a totally rebuilt engine including hard seats so that it runs on unleaded gas. It also includes a new starter, new generator and voltage regulator, water pump and fuel pump.
The stock Jet-Away transmission was also rebuilt at the same time.
The undercarraige was also fully rebuilt with new ball joints, tie rod ends, all new brakes, wheel cyclinders and hoses. a new dual exhaust system was also installed a the time of the rebuild.
New tires were added and capped with 59 Pontiac Bonneville spinner wheel covers. New skirts were also installed at the same time.
the vehicle has a padded dash with good chrome and a working AM/FM radio, all glass is good with new window rubbers and the headliner and door weatherstripping is like new. front and rear carpet is good.
Front chrome is good but there is a small rust spot on the upper left hand corner of the rear center bumper section.
All this car needs is a thorough cleaning and a rubout to make a nice cruise vehicle.
If the Buy-It-Now feature is used I will include an additional $500 worth of parts, most of them new such as a new dome light and lense, perfect chrome headlight rims, a new set of sill plates, a re-done rearview mirror with bracket, a used horn rim assembly with beautiful chrome and center cap and a number of good used 57 Olds items.
