This auction is for a 1956 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Sedan in excellent, original condition.

Original paperwork states: 1956 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight, 4dr Sedan, Heater-Defroster, Deluxe Radio, Power Brakes, Windshield Washer, White side-wall tires, Visor MIrror, Trim#391, Paint#10, Twin Mirrors, Seat Slip Covers, License Plate Frames.
We are the 4th owners. The vehicle has been kept in totally original condition - even the sneakers - never altered. The plastic covers were removed from the seats just last year.
On May 23, 1956, this car was purchased by Mr. Paul Draper from Peter Fuller Cadillac Olds of Boston (Cadillac Automobile Co. of Boston). He traded his 1946 model for this one. Able to afford the vehicle of his choice, Mr. Draper preffered this "understated" automobile.
Available only in "two-tone", Mr. Draper had the vehicle changed to solid black and added only one option before taking delivery - the "rocket" side-mount mirrors (an extremely rare dealer-installed option).
She is completely original - never having been restored-only lovingly maintained and repaired as needed over the years. The black lacquer paint and silver brocade fabric are the same as they were 52 years ago.
Mr. Draper's former home ws donated to the town of Canton MA upon his death, and is maintained as a museum to this day.
Notice that all the original paperwork was kept with the car, as well as the dealer's showroom manual, and the selling dealer's emblem is still on the trunk lid.
