Vehicle Description 1967 OLDSMOBILE 98 CONVERTIBLE GREAT CONDITION! VERY RARE COLOR COMBINATION: PALE YELLOW BODY AND MATCHING YELLOW INTERIOR. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THIS IS ONE OF 6 BUILT IN THIS COLOR COMBINATION ON 98 CONVERTIBLES (?). THIS CAR LOOKS, RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT. 86K MILES! THIS CAR IS ALSO RARE IN THAT IT IS LOADED WITH OPTIONS: "COMFOTRON" HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING - MY UNDERSTANDING IS THAT ANOTHER MANUAL VERSION OF A/C WAS OFFERED FOR 1967, BUT THIS CAR HAS THE OPTIONAL AUTOMATIC "COMFOTRON" SYSTEM. TILT AND TELESCOPING STEERING WHEEL POWER WINDOWS AND POWER VENT WINDOWS CORNERING LIGHTS POWER DOOR LOCKS POWER SEAT AM/FM STEREO RADIO AND PROBABLY A FEW OTHERS I AM FORGETTING! The only option I can think of that this car does not have is cruise control. Why the original owner would have left just that one out is anybody's guess! This car looks, runs and drives great. It is not perfect, however. (Who/What is??) There are a few minor imperfections in the paint. The A/C gets cold under the hood and, as a matter of fact, the lines under the hood ice over. However, only warm air blows out the interior vents! The radio plays when it feels like it, which is not often! Someone has cut out speaker holes in the door panels (see pics). If I knew who it was, I would have them hung (just kidding!). This was a quite common thing to do in the 70s to so that stereo speakers could be added. It is actually a relatively easy fix to have the bottom of the panels re-carpeted. The right side exhaust manifold gasket needs to be replaced. Please feel free to give me a call with any questions. My name is Tom and I can be reached at 727-403-9329. Thanks! Shipping (if desired) of vehicle is sole responsibility of buyer. I will of course make every effort to cooperate with your carrier. If you need a carrier, give me a call and I can recommend one or two local companies who have been very dependable at reasonable cost. If you would like to pick up the car here in Florida, I will be more than happy to pick you up at Tampa International or St. Petersburg/Clearwater International Airport. You can visit sunny Florida at the same time! THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS Deposit of $500 within 2 days of end of auction is required. Payment in full and pick up of vehicle required within 7 days of end of auction. Please call me before auction ends if you need more time to pick up the vehicle (payment must still be made within 7 days) and I will make every effort to accommodate your request. GOOD LUCK!!
