Barn-find 1965 Olds 98 convertible. Last registered in 1977. Odometer shows 43,911.1 miles. Engine stuck, presumably from sitting. Looks like previous owner replaced points, condenser and coil and by-passed mech. fuel pump with electric one. I was wondering if it could be the EMDEKO box (alarm switch?) mounted in trunk causing the NO spark condition. ??? Anyway, air breather, A/C compressor and front A/C bracket are MISSING. As are: transmission dipstick, converter cover, 2 headlight trim rings, the cover for trunk keyhole and the gadget from the front center floorboard (had it's own key; MISSING also). Dual exhausts will need replaced. 425 cu.in. Super Rocket with T-H 400 3 speed auto. trans. Factory A/C, rear air shocks, power windows, door locks, trunk release, steering, brakes, 6-way seats, antennae, top, dual remote mirrors, lighted rear-veiw is MISSING. Tilt column shift, limited slip rear axle, trailer hitch, automatic headlight dimmer, engine block heater, 4 under-hood lights, 1 in the trunk. 4-way flasher (Signal-Stat) works. AM push-button radio with 6 speakers. Does NOT have cruise control or electric vent windows (has crank-out). Has a resettable pointer on speedometer; do NOT know if alarm sounds. Previous owner added dual air-horn with compressor and remote tank, period S-W under-dash gauges (voltmeter is in steering wheel center cap), Ford tissue dispenser, compass into left upper dash, 15" Buick rallys, Lucas High-beams and NON-lighted Day-Nite rear-veiw mirror. Also by-passed heater blower switch with a toggle switch. Working original jack, spare and extra handle. Deck lid has some rust at rear underside. Floor, trunk pans, frame and body are solid, except right in front of both rear wheels, under skirts. Driver's fender has dent behind front wheel. Scrape along pass side. Small dent in right rear fender extension. Will need new top, carpets and seat covers. Top is brittle, has some holes and stitching at seam below glass back window is GONE. Have the four original deuxe 14" wheel covers. Also have a '69 Delta 88 with a running 455/TH400 and 4 14" steel wheels, if interested(at additional cost). It also has the A/C comp. and bracket. $500 deposit within 2 days; balance due within 14 days. Of course, prefer local pick-up, but will work with buyer on shipping/transportation.
