Vehicle Description
You are viewing an original 1968 OLDSMOBILE TORONADO. This Olds is very solid and original and is much better than just your average "project" car, restoration on the body was started several years ago and then other projects came up and this one was stopped. This car runs and drives, but due to the car not being perfect, it will be sold with absolutely NO RESERVE, high bid will own it!
The body itself was straight, painted, and perfect until a car rolled into it while sitting in the shop. The right 1/4 wheel flare needs to be repaired (see pics). Front bumper needs straightened and rechromed and there is a slight "bend" on the driver side fender, below the bumper (see pic). The lower valance is missing, I will try and locate it and if I do it goes with the car. Grill/headlight covers need replaced. The floors, rockers, and undercarriage are nice and SOLID, no rust! This is a solid California car. All glass is intact, Doors open and close solid and firm, no hang or drag.
The interior is original and needs redone. Drivers door panel is missing, seats need recovered, headliner replaced, etc. Has a few sun cracks on the dash pad.
Mechanically, this Olds runs, but the 455cid engine has a bit of smoke and blow-by. Does not have any internal noises or knocks. A/C pump is seized. The transmission shifts fine and the brakes work well. The mileage is believed to be correct and original, this car has been stored indoors since the early 80's. Clean DMV record and duplicate title, not a salvage!! No back fees or registration due!!

As you can tell from my 100% perfect feedback, I am honest and very accurate in all my descriptions and I want every bidder to know exactly what they are getting and be happy with their purchases from me, I have been in the autobody industry for most of my life and do know what I am looking at, I also know others may see things differently, and realize the possibility of overlooking something when describing a "project" vehicle, so communication is important!!! Please ask questions or for specific pictures if needed or come by and take a look at it.
As with all project cars, I advise towing or trailering and checking everything, brakes, fluids, lights, etc, before driving, most of the cars I have were in storage for a number of years.
