1970 Oldsmobile Toronado GT. This Toronado came equipped with the rare W-34 package that is rated at 400hp. It also has the Agean Aqua which was a rare paint option. This is one of the first front wheel drive cars ever made. The body is solid with no rust issues and the paint is very nice. It comes equipped with AM/FM radio, telescopic steering wheel, 8 track player, A/C, power windows, power steering, power brakes, chrome caps and much more. This car runs and drives great with good power. The motor pulls good and the transmission shifts fine. The undercarriage looks solid with no rust issues. More info on the W-34's: 1970 Olds GT. The Rarest of Doctor Olds "W" Machines (W-34), Oldsmobile bolted their 442 Big Block Motor (Hotter Cam, Larger Intake Valves, Rated at 400 hp. this 455 was one hot engine set up, in this big car. Higher Stall Speed Torque Converter) into a Grand Touring Muscle Car with 6 Shock Absorbers and Front Wheel Drive...making it Rock Solid at Speed. Olds Called it, " A One of a Kind Car, in a Carbon Copy World". The Toronado GT was produced by Oldsmobile one year only, 1970. In this last year of the original Toronado body style (1966-70), Oldsmobile decided to provide special 'GT' badging for what had been offered simply as a 'W34' option in 1968 and 1969. The result is a unique luxury-muscle coupe. Unique because it combines 400 hp with front-wheel drive, resulting in the most hp per pound of any production FWD car until the Cadillac Allante. Of the 25,433 Toronados built in 1970, only 5,341 were Toronado GT models. The GT provided a 455 cid V8 of 400 hp, up 25 hp from the standard 455. A 400165 performance cam and special torque converter gave this Toronado 0-60 times of 7.5 seconds and a top speed of 135 mph. Fee and Tax Information: A non refundable depsoit of $2000 is required within 48 hrs of end of auction.
Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A nonrefundable $2000.00 deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
