I am selling my 1951 Packard 4 door in as is condition. This vehicle was owned by a doctor from what I was told. The vehicle is a project car and yes it does have some rust as you can see in the photos. The rust is in the typical places and on the surface of the car. The floors look good. This car is a Washington car that has been in fair weather. The chrome is in good condition. This little buddy needs to be restored and enjoyed. This car would make someone a nice little Sunday driver. The engine is a flat straight 8 that has not been started in years but was properly stored when parked during the last 15 years. The hood is weak near the hood hinges. Hard to close the hood for some crazy reason. The glass is good the interior is very rough although it is dry. The original owner told me that prior to storing it he drove it and the engine ran. This car does not drive or run at this time. It would take some mechanical work to get it back up and runing. Needs new tires. Tires are old but hold air. I have not been able to get in the trunk because the original owner lost the keys to the car. I do have a valid Washington State Title for the car. As you can see in the photos all the interior dash components are still in the car. The car does have some dings and dents and would need body work and paint. The underneath looks good to me. Still pretty solid with normal wear and tear for a car that is 57 years old. Note if you are thinking of buying this car you will need a pretty good heavy duty trailer. She is pretty heavy. If you have any questions regarding this vehicle feel free to contact me on e-mail and I will answer any questions you have regarding the condition of the car. I want the new buyer to be 100% satisfied and comfortable with this car. Remember the car is not perfect and it is by far not a show car. The new buyer has to go into this project knowing that it will take alot of time and money to restore. Good Luck! and Happy Bidding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS CAR IS UP FOR AUCTION AGAIN BECAUSE THE PREVIOUS WINNING BIDDER FAILED TO PAY FOR THE CAR. PLEASE BID IF YOU SERIOUSLY INTEND TO BUY THE CAR. THANK YOU
