1948 Packard Custom Eight Senior Series
This was the last of the truly great Packards. 1948 was the new body style for Packard and it was an award winner. In 1948 Packard boasted the most powerful 8 cylinder in the world.
This 1948 Packard is the rare Custom Senior Series. This car comes with that powerful Packard Straight eight engine, three speed manual transmission with overdrive.
This is an all original car with only the headliner and carpets being replaced in original material. The interior is in excellent condition.
The trunk, engine and underside have all been detailed on this rust free automobile. The chrome is original and some parts would need to be redone to make it a show car.
The car has had one repaint in the past, but still looks very good and is acceptable for driving and local car shows. A good car and an excellent buy for this rare Custom model of a senior Packard. The reserve is set at a modest amount for this car.
