Selling a 1964 Plymouth Savoy 2 door sedan 426 Stage III max wedge clone in very nice condition. Car is silver with red interior. No options except heater. This was a correct max wedge restoration that took place about 10 years ago that spared no expense. This Savoy started life as a 383 4 bbl former California patrol car. It was basically a rust free car with the exception of the front floorboards which were professionlly repaired during the restoration process. Other than that, no rust anywhere. Framerails, cowl, and trunk are perfect. No undercoating. It is now a correct 64 Stage 3 426 Superstock 4 speed car. The engine is an original V426 MP HC motor, standard bore, which was salvaged years ago from a wrecked 64 max wedge car in San Diego, CA. It was completely rebuilt to factory specs including 12.5 - 1 compression and an original NOS Chrysler Stage III cam. The motor has correct 64 6 bolt stage 3 heads, exhaust manifolds, and intake with original 3705's. Under the hood is nicely detailed and very correct. Has factory exhaust system with correct turn down's. Also has original maxie oil pan and pick-up. Ball and trunion 4 speed was completely rebuilt along with correct 8 3/4 3:91 sure-grip rear end. The interior seats and door panels were redone by SMS in Portland OR. using only NOS materials. All exterior chrome professionally polished. Tailight assemblies are NOS Chrysler. If you're looking for a correct clone to drive or hot rod around in, this is it. Over 50,000 spent on this resto back then. This was a very correct restoration using only the best parts. Car needs nothing, everything works, it drives nicely and would blow away any stock street hemi car. Allways garaged. Any questions call 619 846 5357.
