You are looking at a spectacular, correct 1968 Plymouth GTX Convertible. Less than 1,000 of these were manufactured in 1968, making this one rare Mopar.
Present is the correct, original 440 Super Commando, 4 Barrel engine, rated at 375 HP, mated to the correct, original A727 Torqueflite 3 Speed Automatic Transmission. The original 8 3/4" Sure Grip axle, with a 3.23 gear, completes the completely original drive-train.
With less than 69,000 original miles, this GTX Convertible has received a complete ground up restoration, using original and NOS parts, and has been rebuilt to stock specifications. The only deviation from stock on this car is the distributor, and the original distributor has been retained and comes with the car.
This GTX was nicely optioned, built with Power Windows, Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes.
The body and paint are show quality, and the car has been finished in the correct R4 red, as it came from the factory (only better).
The black bucket seat, automatic console shift interior has been fully restored, and is like new.
All mechanicals on the car have been rebuilt or replaced, including the suspension, fuel system and electric systems.
The chrome and stainless steel trim are stunning. The grill, headlight bezels and tail panel have been completely restored, and, as those of you in the hobby know, these are extremely expensive to restore.
The best thing about this GTX is the way it drives. This GTX convertible is 100% stock, right down to the exhaust. Mechanically, everything is brand new and functions properly. The car tracks straight down the road, brakes well, handles well, and is a true joy to drive.
In summary, this is a rare, investment grade Mopar that will leave even the pickiest collector satisfied!

This car can be inspected at our 17000 square foot facility in Mentor, Ohio, six days per week. For those of you who need to fly in, we can provide transportation to and from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. We can also provide accommodations within walking distance of our facility.
We can transport your vehicle to you in an enclosed carrier. Cost depends on mileage and location.
