Vehicle Description
Here is a rare vehicle up for auction. According to Allpar.com production numbers on the 1940 sedan delivery was only 2846. This car is super solid and would restore very nicely, or if you prefer, it would make a super nice street rod. If you are looking for a unique project and one you don't see at every other show you attend, here's the car for you. This delivery is complete, but does not run and drive. Actually other than the appearance of the surface rust, this car is very nice, good sheetmetal and very very minimal rust through. Make special note: This auction is for the sedan delivery only and the box of grille trim. If you opt to use the buy-it-now option or the auction goes higher than the buy-it-now, included with the delivery will be the other items pictured: N.O.S. hubcaps, N.O.S. hood and hood sides, N.O.S. hood ornament plus another very nice hood ornament, new interior door handles and window cranks, used left rear fender and last but not least a 4-dr sedan that in itself would be a very nice car to rod or restore. Again----all these additional items only go with the delivery if purchased through the buy-it-now or if the auction itself bids higher than the buy-it-now.
These auctions are not cheap nor is it a game, so please if you do not have the finances nor the intention to follow through then just simply do not bid. If you have excessive negative feedback do not bid, or if you have less than 5 feedback contact me before bidding. Acceptable payment methods will be cash or cashiers check. I will require a $500 non-refundable deposit within 5 days of auctions end unless other arrangements have been made. Getting cars moved will be the sole responsibility of the buyer.
