Real 1974 Plymouth Roadrunner 1973 73 74 Satellite GTX
Great winter project! This is a REAL 1974 Plymouth Roadrunner (not a clone). It has a clear title. It is equipped with a 318 cu, automatic transmission, A/C, power disc brakes, rallye dash with clock, white bucket seat interior, with fold-down buddy seat! It originally was red, probably with white stripes to match the interior. This is a project car so I will try to list all that it needs to make it a decent driver: I have had the engine started and moved the car around, there is a hole in the gas tank which makes it un-drivable. Included is a gas tank out of a '73 Charger. One of the best things about this car are the quarter panels, which need a small amount of work but do not need to be replaced (please see pictures). The trunk pan has a couple of pin holes but is otherwise solid. The doors and rocker panels need a small amount of attention, but are usable as well. The right fender needs a little straightening on the bottom corner behind the wheel, but is not rusted. The left fender could be fixed, but I am including another fender that has no rust. The hood has rust on the framework underneath. Included is another hood from a Satellite that has good framework that can be used to repair the RR hood. I also have a good Roadrunner hood that I will sell separately. The front floor pans need to be patched or replaced, but the frame rails look to be solid. The rear bumper has been drilled for a hitch, so I am including an extra bumper that needs to be re-chromed. There is a full set of tail-lights and lenses for the car. The front bumper and headlight trim have been painted black, but look good underneath. I believe the paint will come off with a pressure washer. The grill has a couple of cracks, but no missing pieces. It needs to be repainted. The A/C compressor and brackets are missing and the condensor has a cracked fitting. The seats have some smaller rips but are not bad overall. The upper door panels are in good shape with a couple of small defects. The lower door panels are probably usable but need repainting. This will be a easier restoration for someone willing to spend a little time and elbow grease on the car. You could have it ready for '09 cruising and car shows ! I have other parts available to the buyer at a reasonable cost, I have a decent black dashpad and the parts to make this car a floor shift (console, column, shifter) This Roadrunner must be picked up in southern Indiana near Tell City. A deposit of $250.00 is required through Paypal within 48 hours of winning bid and the balance paid by cash or cashiers check or Paypal prior to or at the time of pickup. This vehicle is being sold as is with no warranty. It is inoperable and needs to be trailered.
