This is a 1972 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus in original untouched condition. This car was a real barn find. I purchased this car about 8 years ago from the original owner. The car was parked because reverse no longer worked. The car was garage kept for the first 20 years of its life. The mileage is 77,283 and it has not rolled over. The car is still wearing the original paint (Tawny Gold metalic) and is very solid. Everything in the interior is original even the carpet. The seats are still soft and pliable and not coming apart at the seams although faded. The drivers seat however needs to be recovered. The door panels need to be cleaned. The dash pad has just a few small cracks. Even the original trunk carpet is still there. The engine is a 318 2 bbl and it runs like new. No smoke, no knock, no skip and it has plenty of power. The transmission is in need of a rebuild. Reverse still does not work. It does have forward gears. The doors close tight like a new car, all the glass is good. The chrome is showing its age. The brakes work good and it stops quick. The car still has its factory 150 mph speedo and slapstick shifter. There are no holes in the doors, trunk or hood. The bad points on the car are it needs a trunk pan. It is there but it has holes in it on the drivers and pass sides. (see pics) The air conditioning does not work but the system is intact and we bought a working compressor for it and it comes with the car. The side trim is missing and difficult to find. The car had a full vynal top (gold) and it has a fews places where rust happened underneath (see pics). We removed the original vynal top and head liner to stop the damage and it is not at all bad. Just a couple small holes near the back window and in the lead joints. The tires are dry rotted. There are a few small holes in the floor but the pans are there. (I will get pictures tomorrow) The right quarter has damage from the original owner. The damage extended to the door as well but I bought a rust free door from a Texas car for it. The car has all its body tags and even the build sheet (whats left of it) is in the glove box. The origianl AM FM radio still works as do all the lights wipers etc. We only put a few thousand miles on the car but it has gotten tons of attention where ever it has gone. We have had offers as high as $6500 for the car at car shows but at the time it was not for sale at any price. Money has gotten tight and selling a beloved MOPAR means nothing as long as my kids have full bellies, clothes and a roof over their head. I do have the original door for the passenger side and the original chrome mirror. We are also including with the car a set of 915 340 heads. The distributer for a 360 (better advance curve) and a high velocity fan. The correct 4 bbl intake, carburator, linkage and duel snorkel air breather. With all the parts and a 340 cam the engine should have over 300hp. All the parts on the ground go with the car. Please look at all the pictures. This is a very nice car with no hidden gremlins. You don't find to many in this condition any more. A tranny kit and some tires and you could drive this car anywhere. The car is in the Atlanta GA area and you are more than welcome to see it in person. Please email Randysthom@aol.com about viewing the car. If you can't pay for the car please don't bid. I am selling this car to take care of my family and I don't need to play games. I will not accept a certified check for more than the car is worth or any of the other scams out there. I would prefer someone look it over in person and hand me cash. But paypal works too. Please don't hesitate to ask questions and request pictures. I need to sell this car to a good home. And I want to see pictures of it after the next owner restores her to new. Thank You. On Oct-09-08 at 17:00:43 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had several questions regarding the title of this vehicle. In the state of georgia any car 20 years of age or older does not need a title. Further more any car 40 years of age or older can not even be titled nor can a title be transfered. To register a car of this age in Georgia you must fill out form T22B and have the car inspected by a police officer and that form filled out by the inspecting officer. That was just done today. The car was inspected by a Clayton County Police officer and the form has been filled out. The officer confirmed none of the numbers on this car have been tampered with and the car is still in the Georgia system and has come back as unregistered and not stolen. All you, the buyer would need to do is take the form and the bill of sale and you can have the car registered or titled if you wish.
