It will be a desirable car when you finish it since it is pretty rare being the Overhead Cam Sprint Six model, is a true Red/White car from the factory, and still has it's original California black and yellow license plates! I just had a new water pump and timing belt installed this week. It has power steering. The car is surprisingly strong and drives well. The body is straight but does have some rust. It has rust on the driver's side fender lip and along the drip rails. The floorboards and frame are excellent. The trunk floor has some surface rust but is solid. The interior obviously needs to be re-done, but has not been chopped or cut up in any way. It still has the factory AM radio that works. All the gauges and heater work fine. All in all, this is a very hard to find first generation Firebird that is an outstanding candidate for a complete cosmetic restoration for about as little money as you could hope to spend to get into a car like this. Serious buyers only please. I encourage anybody that wants the car to come and see it. 10% deposit due within 48 hours of the end of the auction, balance due within 7 days of the end of the auction. Buyer is responsible for shipping/pickup, but I will be happy to work with the shippers to get the Firebird on it's way.
